Beginning Data Mining class meets Mon and Tuesdays for 10 weeks 1/22/2011, class is divided into 2 5 week sessions. This is an intensive work load class. The format of this class is to build up R coding skills through lectures, examples, and practice. Homework is done in groups. The goal of the class is to give the students enough background for preparation to compete in data mining competitions and for the Advanced Data Mining/Machine learning class.
