What: A hackathon event with participating vendor's APIs (five or six?)
Where: Hacker Dojo in Mountain View
When: Saturday February 27th. 1PM - 11PM.
Cost: $10 Early Bird, $15 General Admission, free for Hacker Dojo Members (request promo code)

Goals
- people would build real applications
- developers network with each other, come up with creative new ideas for mashups
- API companies are available for one-on-one communcation, Q&A, troubleshooting
Participating API Companies
- Twilio
- PBworks
- Olark
- Bump Technologies (iPhone SDK/API to add bumping to your app)
- Yahoo (especially YQL :)
- Box.net
- Yazzem
Participating companies ideally would contribute:
- energy and excitement
- engineers or other staff members to help with API programming (and possibly present their API..?)
- a tiny financial contribution to help the event (i.e. ~$200)
- logistics help / marketing help for the event
This is the first Dojo API Hackathon, so the above is not set in stone. Feel free to edit this page and make changes!
Location in Dojo
The API Hackathon will take up about half of 140A - the Savannah (1st floor) + Deck (2nd floor) [noting it is one large contiguous open space, though). See the pink shading below:
