Hacker Dojo is a community center for hackers and thinkers to meet, discuss, learn, create, build and play.

HackerDojo Instructors wanted. We have the following classes under development and are looking for additional people to get involved!

  • Hadoop, we are developing an introductory class on Hadoop. 
  • Java Instructors, come practice and grow your skills. We are looking for all levels of instructors.
  • If you have a class you would like to teach, please email us! We have classes ranging from Chinese to Javascript.

Love this idea of having a place in the mid-peninsula. I'm looking forward to a place where I can stay connected with others while I keep my web and programming skills honed (I mostly do marketing these days, so it is hard to keep up with the tactical skills since the rate of change of technology is so fast).

I can contribute stress reduction events for anyone who appreciates that -- particularly yoga and mindfulness meditation.

Finally, a dog-friendly space would be ideal since it is so difficult to find places where she is welcome. She participates in stress reduction and meditation, by the way, not so much the programming :-)

This enterprise sounds amazing. Yet another reason to move to the Bay area. I wish we could recreate this in San Diego, but I'm not certain if the spirit of fellowship is here.

Does anyone know of an iPhone developer interested in joining a start-up making casual iphone games? Must be passionate about games, have game programming experience (not necessarily on iPhone), and have iphone app development experience (not necessarily games).
